We are
located a few miles from Estacada, Oregon. We have fun
flying helicopters and fixed wing model aircraft, both liquid
fueled and electric. Our goal is to have fun and be safe.
Anything that is not fun (politics, personal gripes, etc. is to
be avoided).
Joining the club is easy. Our dues are $60 per year, plus $60 initiation fee. For new members, the dues are pro-rated (i.e. $40 for May through December). The best way
to pay is by check or cash at a club meeting. The dues help take care of regular expenses. The initiation fee helps pay for
expenses and capital improvements that have already been made to the field (as well as discouraging people from trying to pay dues during the summer season only).
Also, members of
the same household are $24 / year, and non-flying members are $12 / year. Membership is required to vote, participate in raffles, etc...
We
expect members to pitch in with mowing the grass, field maintenance,
etc...
AMA
insurance is required to fly, no exceptions. You can apply
on-line with the AMA at http://modelaircraft.org

Club meetings are
usually the first Friday or Saturday of the month. During Spring and Summer,
they are at the field on a Saturday at 12 noon. In Fall and Winter, we usually meet at a church in Oregon City on a Friday
night at 7 PM.
